GREAT SMOG CHECK

This guy (Joe) was super polite, very nice and more than willing to explain the process to me without making me feel dumb about it. The place was clean and i got to sit down and read some magazines will my car was taken in, there was even a TV to watch! I was in and out in 15 minutes and it was DIRT CHEAP compared to everyone else. Definetly worth the drive for both price and professionalism. Definetly going again next time! Pros: the price, the service, clean place Cons: a little far, but worth the drive
Quick, professional and courteous service at Joe's

They explained everything to me and got me in and out in 15 minutes. Very professional service, all around excellent. 5 stars. Pros: Fast and professional service. Cons: none

Get their coupon on their website for an even better deal. Super nice and no BS – you'll be in and out in 15 mins.
Great Service, great atmosphere
07/08/2008 Posted by AphiX27 Just wanted to pass this on, Joe's Smog Check is worth a bit of an extra drive for the speed of service (mine was done in 10mins, but makes sense to call ahead to see if he is busy), and the shop is very clean and comfortable for what it is. I have waited around in some pretty messy / slightly depressing auto shops, this place was fine. The price is competitive and Joe is a nice professional, and made an effort to get me out as fast as possible. Overall it was a great service, and I hope to pass this on to anyone else searching. Pros: nice clean place Cons: none

06/28/2008 Posted by yotakagirl I am a female who knows nothing about cars. I was very apprehensive about getting this test. Joe's was very professional and efficient. His place was clean. There are magizines and a TV while you wait. It is really great to find a honest and reputable facility. I highly recommended it. It is worth the extra drive if you have ever experienced rude employees and false reasons to take your money. It is really refreshing to not be taken advantage of by car mechanics. it was a total pleasure. I drove from koreatown because of the ratings i saw and here- and was not disappointed! they got me right in, was done in twenty minutes. being originally from ny I still don't quite understand the process...he gladly explained everything, without making me feel bad about it (unlike another shop I had previously visited.) All in all great experience and highly recommended!!

On top of getting an excellent deal (the TOTAL was about 35 USD for a mid-size car) the owner is a friendly fellow that will answer any questions you may have. He also gave me a tip I could pay my registration fee online - that saved me a stamp and the "will it get there on time" postal service thrills.

I was in and out in 20 minutes, the technician was friendly and efficient, and the price was what I was quoted. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Print out the coupon to save some $$$.

Fast service. Joe is professional. I paid $38 by citysearch's coupon. It takes 20 mins to perform the test.

Joe is personally running his business and you know that when you drive in the door. Personalised service - the kind you only find in small towns. Very clean bay and all the best in equipment. I would definatley make the trip again, and will spread the word! The Citysearch discount was icing on top of the cake!

Coming in from another state, the smog certication process was a bit of a mystery and DMV gave only confusing info. Prices for the process vary widely and I didn't want to get cheated. So I'm happy to have found Joe's. Professional in every way, quick with no need for an appointment, very favorably priced with the Citysearch discount, and no trickery (such as $29.95 inspection and $30 for the certificate). Easy to find with Mapquest directions and worth going a few extra miles!

With the discount on Citysearch, you cant beat the deal! Joe's Test Only Smog was quick and efficient. I was in and out in a jiffy. Great place to go when you have to make sure you're up to date on environmental standards.
