Joe's Drive Thru Smog Check™ Star Station ("we" or "us") runs joessmogcheck.com. We're a small walk-in smog shop at 10909 Burbank Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601. This page explains, in plain words, what information we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you fill out our contact form, we get what you type, like your name, email, phone number, and message.

When you call us, text us, or message us through Google, we see your phone number or account name and what you send us.

When you visit our website, our website host (Wix) and tools like Google Analytics use cookies to collect basic info, such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and the general area you're visiting from.

When you get a smog check, your vehicle and test results are sent electronically to the State of California, as the law requires.

How we use it

We use your info to answer your questions, help with your visit, improve our website, and follow the law.

We don't sell your personal information

We never sell your personal info. We only share it with companies that help us run our website and messages (like Wix and Google), with the State for smog reporting, or when the law requires it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most of our site will still work fine.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you can ask us what personal info we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. We won't treat you any differently for asking. Just email or call us using the info below.
