Terms of Service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Welcome to joessmogcheck.com, the website for Joe's Drive Thru Smog Check™ Star Station. By using this site, you agree to these simple terms.

Using our website

Please use our site for lawful, personal use. Our name, logo, slogans, photos, and words belong to us, so please don't copy them without asking first.

Service info

We do our best to keep our prices, hours, and details up to date, but they can change without notice. Right now a smog check is $60 out the door, and that includes the certificate and the electronic transfer to the DMV. We're walk in only, no appointments needed. We test 2000 to 2026 gasoline and hybrid light duty vehicles. We don't test diesel. Our hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 6, Saturday 9 to 2, and closed Sunday. For holiday hours, please check our Google or Yelp listing. Any guarantee, coupon, or special offer follows the terms shown with that offer.

Messaging

When you message us through Google, by text, or through our website, a reply may come from an automated assistant working for us, and a real person may follow up. Message and data rates may apply. If you get text messages from us, you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Please don't send card numbers or other sensitive info by message.

Not legal advice

The info on our website, including smog and DMV info, is general info only. It isn't legal advice. For official rules, please check the California DMV or Bureau of Automotive Repair websites.

Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites, like the DMV or Google Maps. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

Our website as is

We work hard to keep our site accurate, but it's provided as is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from using our website.
