Description Emissions- related recall number# U90 – vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine may release air pollutants which exceed tailpipe emission standards. Install a new catalyst and reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and

Transmission Control Module (TCM) with the latest software.

REASON FOR THIS EMISSION RECALL

Vehicles may exceed tailpipe emission standards due to a loss of catalyst CO/NOx conversion efficiency resulting from the catalyst operating at high temperatures.
